Nickelus F: Bubble Lip

VA's own Nickelus F has let loose yet another track in anticipation of his upcoming album, Heathen. I really liked this song because, aside from his usual metaphors and punchlines, about half way through the song Nickelus F brings out a very sick flow. It's not the best flow I've ever heard, but I just really really like it for some reason.

Nickelus F: The Thank You Mixtape (version pi)

This mixtape is, on a scale of 1 to dope, dope. I guess it's possible I like Nickelus F so much because he's a VA native but I suspect his rhymes have something to do with it. I mean, who can argue with lyrics like "And to there's no limit it's/like pool the way I take English and put a spin on it." This is definitely a mixtape you'll enjoy, and Nickelus F has even included some videos for your ipod too.

Nickelus F: Heathen (Video)

I'm really becoming a Nickelus F fan. He's a VA native and a sick emcee. Lately Nickelus F has been dropping songs non-stop in preparation for his upcoming album, Heathen. Now, in addition to all the great tracks, he has dropped a great video too. Heathen comes out on the 12th.

Nickelus F: Crack A Bottle Freestyle

Nickelus F drops a sick freestyle over the beat for Preservation by Aesop Rock and Del the Funky Homosapien. It's all part of the revised Thank You mixtape which will feature some all new material and tracks leaked from Heathen. Look for it March 10th.

Nickelus F: Heavy Wrist

I'm always a fan of clever wordplay, especially from a VA native. But not only is this song witty, but it sounds good too

Quotable: "I got the girls going crazy like a missing purse/I'm like a bathroom break, they wanna lift their skirts"

Residing in Richmond, VA Nick got his first big break in 2000 when he was 17 and got a chance to spit in the regional Source Unsigned Hype Emcee Battle. He place second with no formal recordings under his belt.
